My wife and I recently moved to Georgia from out of state. We initially transferred our auto, home and umbrella policies from our previous location, given all of the conflicting time demands of our move. Our home, auto and umbrella policy costs surprisingly increased dramatically, so we looked into alternative insurers. We initially "researched" this online. After getting offers via an online insurance consolidator site and contacting a few insurers directly (all very time consuming!), we decided to call North Point for help. The response was prompt, courteous, and efficient. We had coverage proposals and recommendations presented within one business day, resulting in substantial savings with a highly rated insurer. We feel very relieved and happy about it. We hope to never need to use it, but feel reassured to have solid coverage at a very reasonable price.

I give the office and their overall customer service a 5 star. However. Ronda? One of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I have had the displeasure of speaking with her the last several times I have called this office. Whenever I speak to anyone else, past or present employees, they are fantastic.Ronda has taken an excessive amount of time to get documentation over to me. She also has been little to no help whenever I have needed to make adjustments to my account. I have had to call my insurance agency myself (which I do not mind doing... but is that not the whole point of an insurance group... to NOT have to call your insurance company directly.... ?) I am currently speaking with multiple other agencies to try to get other quotes due to how poor of service Ronda has given me each time I have spoken with her.Again. The rest of the agency is fantastic. I have had an absolutely wonderful time with any other person I have needed to speak to. No matter what. The things they have helped me with and the service they give are awesome! I recommend this agency, but I do NOT recommend Ronda.

But at that time I had some travel going on, and didn't have the time to review closely the changes to my premiums.North Point insurance group reached out to me via text during my travels, and showed me the increase by comparing like-to-like coverages and by adjusting for 6 month/yearly premiums.They then shopped around (without prompting) and got me the identical coverage at significantly lower premiums with a different provider.I completed the Docusign for cancellation of previous provider and signing up with the new provider...all with very minimal effort on my side (within 30 minutes all-in).When I finished my travels, I compared closely what had been promised to what had been actually setup...and everything was perfect. Resounding 5 stars. I met Paul and his team upon moving here four years ago from the west coast. Needless to say, the move was intense with two young ones and a super-pregnant wife. Working with Paul though, was seamless. We had several policies, and being real estate investors, continue to have policies.The difference between working with a broker vs directly with an insurance company is MASSIVE. Not trying to brag, but I haven’t spoken with an insurance company in four years, and my life is infinitely better because of it.Imagine trying to text State Farm or Geico or whomever to ask questions, to add a policy or to start a claim. Statefarm tried to give me the run around about not being able to adjust the coverage price on my house because of “market value”, but Sam was able to find the right amount of coverage for my mortgage without gouging me every month. I finally got around to switching my auto insurance after increases in our premium every 6 months (despite no accidents, instances, or problems).When I walked in, I had the pleasure of being greeted promptly by Paul (the owner). He offered me candy (it was the week of Halloween) and drinks ( water or pop). The office was clean and quiet. It felt like a small hometown business as opposed to a big box insurance company.During my first visit, I worked with Sam who was very helpful and listened to what I was looking for in terms of auto coverage (as opposed to trying to sell me the most expensive option). If you have any type of insurance, you should take the time to reconsider if you're getting the best coverage for your expenditure. This is what led me to Paul and North Point Insurance Group. We recently bought a house in January 2020 before COVID struck and didn't have time to shop around for quality insurance. We went with what our lender suggested, and frankly, I don't think we got the best deal. I reached out to Paul a few months later. We went to Valdosta State together.
